A Digital Communicator Is The Most Inexpensive Way Of Alarm Signaling

Alarm signaling with the use of a digital communicator is the most cost-effective means of bringing a response to your alarm activation.

The digital communicator is like a computer modem attached to your alarm system - it passes digital information to a 24-hour alarm receiving center who are able to respond to the signal in accordance with agreed police policy and your personal requirements.

Most communicators have 8 active channels but some use 16 and others use what is called "Point iD" which means that the alarm receiving center knows exactly which room is violated or which user is unsetting the system. "Point iD can pass numerous different coded signals to the alarm receiving center. Signals from your security installation can include:-

bullet

Fire alarm - linked to smoke or heat detectors.

bullet

Personal attack or duress alarm for times of personal threat.

bullet

Intruder alarm when someone attacks your property.

bullet

Opening and closing log for your business ( see who's coming and going and when ).

bullet

Aborted alarm signal when you've just made a mistake.

bullet

Alarm verification when someone has entered your property and moves into another protected area.
