Alarm signaling with the use of a digital communicator is the most cost-effective means of bringing a response to your alarm activation. The digital communicator is like a computer modem attached to your alarm system - it passes digital information to a 24-hour alarm receiving center who are able to respond to the signal in accordance with agreed police policy and your personal requirements. Most communicators have 8 active channels but some use 16 and others use what is called "Point iD" which means that the alarm receiving center knows exactly which room is violated or which user is unsetting the system.
